Dr Jonathan Lewin has lived and worked as a Consultant Urology Surgeon in Albury for the last almost two decades. He completed his training and research doctorate in uro-oncology in the UK before moving to Australia. He then completed a fellowship in prostate and renal cancer surgery at Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne before moving to Albury Wodonga in 2008. He holds dual Fellowships from both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal Australian College of Surgeons. 

Dr Lewin has a specific interest in pelvic oncology, specialising specifically in Prostate and Bladder cancer treatments. He is the highest volume prostate cancer surgeon in the North East with outcomes amongst the best in the state. Dr Lewin also has an interest in prosthetic surgery, benign prostate disease, infertility, and stone surgery.

As a strong believer in individualised patient-centred care, Dr Lewin understands the importance of patients being involved and fully understanding their treatment. To this end he focuses on being approachable, understandable and professional. 

As a well respected senior member of the local medical community, he is head of the Urology Unit at Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) and Director of Urological Training. He is the Urology representative on the Medical Advisory Committee to Ramsay Healthcare, Albury Wodonga Private Hospital (AWPH). Jonathan is also the Chair of the Senior Medical Staff Committee at AWH representing all of the senior doctors at your local public hospital.
